Basher Benfield epitomised what it means to be a Pompey fan. Stubborn yet selfless with a witty sense of humour, he was a pillar of our football community. He was truly committed to the club following the boys in blue all over the world and working alongside the Supporters Club and the DSA to ensure fans voices were heard. Like his beloved Pompey, Basher was a fighter, always dignified and never gave up even in times of pain and adversity. The loss is immense, not just for myself having lost a loyal friend but for Pompey, having lost a true blue and an integral member of our football family that will never be replaced

Christian Burgess was voted Player of the Season, understandably due to the current circumstances with Covid19, it has not been possible to present Christian with his award as in previous seasons. However we will drop his memento into the club, who will ensure it is passed on to him.

Trevor Tovey was presented the Fan of the Season (in memory of Ray Forder) shield by Roy Gregory. This took place in his garden with Social distancing measures in place. Trevor’s name will added to shield to go with last years winner the late John Jenkins MBE

Membership to be extended for the 20-21 season 

Due to all the uncertainty surrounding the return of football in front of crowds both home and away, and lack of ability to offer our usual membership benefits, Central Branch Committee have agreed unanimously to extend our current membership until 30th June 2021.
We feel in the current circumstances this is the best and fairest course of action to take and in the best interest of all our members.

Members who have existing Standing Order arrangements in place, may we respectfully suggest that you suspend payment for this year, and please recommence again next year.

Following Government guidelines regarding the need to cancel or postpone AGM and other meetings due to Coronavirus, it has been decided to postpone our AGM until a date when it will be safe to hold.
Therefore due to uncertainty of timing etc we will not be bringing any proposals requiring any changes to the Constitution.

All Committee members have kindly agreed to continue on in their relevant roles, until reelection can take place.
